Official rules

These rules apply to Craxxles prize drops. Draw outcomes are published on the public audit record.

1. The drop

Some Craxxles drops offer one authenticated vinyl toy prize, held in the Craxxles vault under a unique inventory ID. Other drops may sell merchandise only and will not include a toy prize or entry slots.

Drops that include a prize list a fixed number of entry slots and a per-entry merch price set by the host and confirmed by the vault admin. The admin may raise the price above the host's submitted minimum but never below it.

2. Merch purchase and entries

For prize drops, every purchase is a purchase of Craxxles merch. Purchases of more than $10 receive an official Craxxles T-shirt; purchases of $10 or less receive a high-quality Craxxles vinyl sticker.

One qualifying purchase generates one entry, numbered by slot, for drops that include a prize. Entries are confirmed only after the vault admin verifies the payment; unconfirmed reservations expire after 24 hours and return to the pool.

3. Eligibility

Entrants must hold a valid Craxxles account with a unique display name and must be legally able to receive the prize in their jurisdiction.

Craxxles admins may not enter a drop they are middlemanning.

4. The drawing

For prize drops, a drop closes when every slot is a confirmed purchase. There is no fixed end date; the drop draws when it is full.

At close, entries are frozen. The winning entry is selected server-side using cryptographically secure randomness with rejection sampling to remove modulo bias.

Admins cannot select, re-roll or override a winner. The database rejects any winner written from a browser session, and a drop can only be drawn once.

5. Winner verification and prize delivery

For prize drops, the winning entry, the number of eligible entries and the draw timestamp are written to the public audit record.

Craxxles verifies eligibility and contacts the winner through their account. The winner submits a shipping address and pays outbound postage; the vault admin then prints the label, ships the toy and records tracking against the drop.

If a winner cannot be verified or does not respond within 14 days, Craxxles may re-run the draw over the remaining eligible entries and will note this on the audit record.

6. The vault

A prize drop is only published after the physical toy has arrived at the vault, been logged with arrival photos and condition notes, and been assigned an inventory ID.

Hosts confirm they own the item and have the right to consign it, and pay inbound postage. Craxxles holds the item under an admin-care agreement until it ships to the winner.

7. Fees

The vault admin who middlemans a prize drop earns 8% of the total raised. A flat 7% site fee applies to every prize drop. The remainder is paid to the host.

8. Instagram, External Giveaway, and No-Purchase Entries

Craxxles may distribute promotional entries for prize drops through Instagram, social media, community events, or other external channels. Promotional entries are limited to one entry per eligible recipient per drop unless otherwise stated in the applicable promotion. Promotional entries are not transferable, may not be sold or exchanged for cash, and do not guarantee a prize.

This is how Craxxles provides a no-purchase method of entry for prize drops. Eligible individuals may request one free entry into an active prize drop. A free entry does not require the purchase of Craxxles merchandise.

All valid promotional and no-purchase entries are entered into the same drawing pool as merchandise-associated entries and have the same odds of winning on an entry-for-entry basis.

A person receiving a no-purchase or promotional entry does not receive a Craxxles T-shirt, vinyl sticker, or other merchandise solely because of receiving that entry. Merchandise is provided only in connection with a qualifying merchandise purchase or where Craxxles separately states otherwise in an applicable promotion.

The number of entries available through any free-entry or promotional method may be subject to the limits and procedures stated in the applicable Official Rules. Craxxles will not require a purchase as a condition of submitting a valid no-purchase entry.

All entries, regardless of source, are subject to the same eligibility requirements, entry deadline, drawing procedure, winner-verification process, and audit requirements described in these Official Rules.

9. The market: buying and selling

Any verified member may list a vinyl toy for sale on the Craxxles market. Every sale runs through the vault: the buyer pays Craxxles, not the seller, and the money is held in escrow.

Once payment is held, the seller ships the toy to the Craxxles vault. We photograph it, verify it against the listing, and forward it to the buyer. The seller's payout is released after the buyer confirms delivery or after the automatic release window passes.

Craxxles takes an 8% commission out of the seller's proceeds on every completed market sale (6% for active Craxxles members). The commission is shown on the listing and on the order in your desk before you sell, and is deducted from the payout released after delivery.

Every leg of a sale or trade is tracked. The seller enters their inbound carrier and tracking number when they ship to the vault, and the vault publishes the outbound carrier and tracking number when the item is forwarded. Both parties can see both tracking numbers on their desk.

If the item does not match the listing, the buyer may open a dispute before the release window closes and Craxxles will refund the buyer and return the item to the seller at the seller's expense.

Listings never expire. A listing stays visible until you mark it sold, paused or removed, and you may edit the title, photos, price, description and trade preferences freely at any time.

10. Trades

Members may propose a trade against any listing marked open to trades, offering one or more of their own listings plus an optional cash balance on either side.

Accepted trades are vault-mediated. Both sides ship their items to the vault. Nothing is forwarded until both parcels arrive and are verified; if one side never ships, the trade is unwound and the received item is returned to its owner.

Any cash balance in a trade is held by Craxxles and released with the outbound leg.

11. Shipping on the market

Each side pays their own postage into the vault. Sellers pay to send a sold item in; both traders pay to send their own item in. Craxxles does not reimburse inbound postage.

Outbound postage from the vault is paid by the person receiving the item — the buyer on a sale, each trader on a trade. Outbound postage may be paid at checkout or billed afterwards by invoice once the item has physically arrived at the vault and been weighed and measured, whichever Craxxles quotes for that parcel.

Items are not forwarded until the outbound postage invoice is settled. Unclaimed items with unpaid postage after 30 days may be returned or relisted at Craxxles' discretion.

12. Posting fees

Listing an item for sale is free. A one-time posting fee applies only to listings marked open to trades, based on the estimated value you declare for the item: $10 for items estimated under $1,000 and $50 for items estimated at $1,000 or more.

The fee is charged once when the trade listing is created, or when you turn trades on for an existing free listing. It is non-refundable, is not a commission, and covers vault handling, verification and moderation of the post.

A trade listing stays in draft and is not publicly visible until the posting fee is paid. After it is paid the listing is live indefinitely and can be edited as often as you like without paying again.

Craxxles' sale commission and vault fees are shown at checkout and are separate from the posting fee.
